An artist with a background in business development, Caroline Suttlehan is proud to exhibit her personal work in support of spaces which revitalize disinvested neighborhoods and communities. Her current works are hundreds of iterations of two stacked cubes, deconstructing and reimagining a simple, familiar form. This is a meditation on perception: the act of seeing, unseeing, and re-seeing the same elemental structure, each iteration a new cycle of construction, deconstruction, and reconstruction which reveals the infinite possibilities inherent to a single form. Her hope is that the viewer walks away feeling that the act of exploration is an expansive one, not an exhaustive one.
