Raven Smith @orange_splatters is an artist and creative director whose paintings examine color psychology and the emotional relationships humans attach to color, fusing palette-based statements on color into narrative works that also seek to transport viewers into fantastic scenarios. By merging these two approaches, she crafts thematic and immersive worlds that invite the viewer to escape with her into the scenes.

Since 2016, Raven has produced private commissions and exhibited work at notable venues including Navy Pier during EXPO CHICAGO, the Museum of Science and Industry for Black Creativity, and the New York Academy of Art. Her work has also extended into public art, including a sculpture installation in Chicago’s Oakland community.
