Jennifer Hoeft Nagle
Jennifer Hoeft Nagle is a multimedia artist and educator currently working in ceramics, who earned her BFA from Northern Illinois University and continued her studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a Smith Grant recipient focused on painting. After spending years as a decorative painter and photo stylist, and community gallery coordinator, she now works as a teacher in Cook County School District 130.
Her current work addresses personal change, her relationship with God, and confronts the illusion of stability. Presenting itself as a merging of organic forms, her work is a personal reminder that all things are fluid, and that our perception of them as stable forms is a self-deception to the constant physical and relational changes that occur around us.
