Gennavieve is a self-taught painter, who began working with abstraction at the height of the 2022 pandemic. Her work is heavily influenced by her personal environment, drawing inspiration from small moments in her day to day life and her family history in a creative household.  Never delving into total abstraction, her works always incorporates a hint of graspable recognition in its imagery.
