Maude Atlas (she/they) is a multidisciplinary queer artist based in Chicago. She shifts her focus between mixed-media & abstract painting, photography, writing & music. Her work stems from an intuitive nature & combines the concept of motion with the continuous actualization of her queer identity, often exploring their relation & the spaces in between. In 2020, she graduated from Ball State University with a B.S in photojournalism. Since then, she has written four collections of poetry, held solo exhibitions for all of her disciplines at varying locations across the Midwest, & participated in queer & lesbian community organizing.
